Well, I'm no doctor or nurse etc, but 25 mg. of Elavil is a tiny amount. It's enough to help with sleep ... but not depression. A lot of times Elavil is coprescribed with another antidepressant--the other ... they are better with meds and mental health. Your elavil dose is too small to help with your major depression...
