You may want to tell the doc that reg pain killers arent helping!!! All you are doing is messing up your stomache!!! Are you having burning sensation when you lower your neck or any movemeny actually????
I have had burning from nerve damage..the only thing that eases it is zanaflex or elavil...Ask your doc about trying these meds..It is the only thing that will help you!! good luck to you!!!
