Hiya everyone...

I was prescribed Ambien to ween me off of another medication, Elavil, which I was taking for greater occipital neuralgia. But that's a whole other thread...

Anyway, what are the boundaries of Ambien and alcohol? I mean, I know well enough to not drink after taking Ambien but what about having a couple of beers or a few glasses of wine after work before taking Ambien? Things I have read suggest avoiding alcohol all together while taking Ambien.

Any help would be appreciated!
