Need,
Thank you for the information. I will call them today and try to get an appointment at the end of next week. They also seem to have 2 offices in Jersey City that ywould be VERY convenient for me but Nutley is fine.
There would be little time to do anything by May, but perhaps I have some of whatever they prescribe for slowing the heart...I NEVER throw out a half bottle of pills so I have 3 different beta-blockers in the closet which is most likely what they'll prescribe! :D Maybe I'll luck out.
Do you know what kind of heart rate they like?
Triamterene, eh. That is almost ALWAYS given with HCTZ. Is it the combo drug you mean (like Maxzide, Dyazide?)
Both drugs work by eliminating sodium, and thus the craving for salty things. DON'T RESTRICT sodium, but don't go so overboard that you foil the drugs. Perhaps limit you pickles to 750 mg. sodium per day...not sure how many dills that is. :D:D
