Yes sure it is Norvasc. I am on Norvasc for about 3 years, and after swelling a lot of my feet the doc added Dyazide --a diuretic medication, reducing water retention in tissues. Dyazide reduces my swelling but it has it own side effects like lowering potassium, increasing CK which is damaging heart tissue causing future myocardial infraction. So after adding Dyazide I also need 1800 mg/day K potassium tablets. Norvasc also increases cholesterol so I also take Lipitor for that purpose!
