Interesting. My acid problems started about a month after finishing a 5 week treatment with doxycycline for a severe eye infection. I never put the two together. I was told by the pharmacist not to lay down for 1/2 hour after taking each antibiotic pill. Now I'm thinking maybe they were so strong that they somehow upset the normal balance in my digestive system and the problem crept up into my esophagus and throat. But how to fix it??? I'm already on Nexium, but think I may try probiotic yoghurt to see if that helps.
