Hi David, thanks for your reply. Well, funny you should mention the seizure thing. She had a seizure in the car on the way to an AA meeting. Thank God I have seen a seizure before, so I didn't freak (also thank God I was sober, or who the heck knows what would have happened.) Anyway, after she came around which seemed to be about 35 or 40 minutes, we had the question/answer session with the doc. She said she only had taken 2 tabs about 1 hour before I picked her up. The doc said no way could it be from too many Ultram. They did not do any blood work, just wrote a script for some Dilantin and gave her a shot of Ativan and I took her home about 30 minutes later. I did a little snooping (sorry, I'm pleading sponsor priviledge here) and she had a bucket load of Ultrams. There is no possible way she could get all of those from one doc so now I'm thinking maybe she's been doctor shopping too.
She and I talked about this seizure and she thinks (?)
maybe she has had a few at home during the day, wakes up from the floor, vomited, lost bladder control, etc.
I've told her the all that I know about this drug, and that seizures are pretty common. She doesn't at all seemed too worried. The doc said they won't cause any long term damage!! If you have any words of wisdom here folks, bring 'em on! Stay Serene, fiver
