Yes, I have been putting the inhaler in my mouth. I have been using the flovent and albuterol since the 2nd week of October. I picked up a spacer last night and will use that. I also called the on call Doctor and described my situation. She thinks there is a good chance I have thrush and prescribed 1 Diflucan pill. Is it the thrush or the medicine depositing in the back of my throat that is causing my voice problems? I hope by taking the Diflucan and using the spacer I will get my voice back.
It's not that antihistamine that helps, it's the pseudoephedrine. If I take the regular Claritin with no pseudoephedrine it does not help at all. If I take Sudafed which has only pseudoephedrine and no antihistamine I feel better.
