other than itching, heavy and thick or unusual discharge is really the only other symptom. I'd say if you don't start itching then even if you have a mild one it should clear on it's own. I get them constantly, especially after taking antibiotics. As for side-effects, I've taken Diflucan many times and never had a single side effect, so if you have any it would probably be VERY mild.
