Dear fotomom,

Dr. Crist has all of his patients on nystatin the whole time you are on meds I think. After the visit the first week you take none while you get off all fruit and sugar, the second week 2 - 4x a day, the third week 3 - 4x a day and then the 4th week 4 - 4x a day. Seems like a lot. I can't remember after that but I think I read that after that you drop back and take a maintenance dose. He just feels yeast is such a problem so he tries to nip it in the bud so all you are dealing with is the lyme. The pills are prettyy cheap too. He actually gave me a script for 200 with 5 refills. That is the only thing he gave me refills for. I think if there is a real problem he adds diflucan.
