Can anyone tell me the specific symptoms of Oral Thrush, after a bout with Penicillan,I developed thrush,the lab test came back positive. I took Diflucan and it seemed to go away,and came back,only this time it seems to be worse,I have actual pain in my pallet,gums,throat and tongue along with the burning,my pallet and gums feel like someone peeled the skin off and it even hurts my teeth. Has anyone had this symptom or is it just me. I'm on my second prescription of Diflucan with just 3 days left and it still is painful. Any info is appreciated!

My daughter used Advair for almost two years and had thrush constantly. She was treated with Nystatin and Diflucan on a number of occasions, but it kept coming back. Her doctor switched her to Asmanex and she hasn't suffered from thrush since! She likes it a lot better and is doing just as well as she was when she was on Advair.
