I have read several articles linking candidiasis and Addison's disease. I was dx with candidiasis several months back. They did not do any tests, but my internist (who is also credentialed in natural medicine) suspected some Candida based on my symptoms and lack of significantly abnormal labs. He prescribed Diflucan and probiotics. I took the Diflucan, but could not afford to get probiotics. However, this did NOTHING at all for me! The doc said that he suspected I would experience headaches or various other symptoms on the Diflucan as my body rids itself of the yeast, but nothing happened and I still have problems (fevers, nausea, various Addison symptoms as well as vaginal yeast symptoms--chronic). Has anyone here been diagnosed with candidiasis? If so, was it before your Addison dx, and was your Candida infection linked to your Addison's dx?
