   Harmful Medications (Hepatitis board)

24th November 2003
I am trying to preserve as much liver as possible, but it doens't seem like any 'professionals' have any answers. I was on a llot of different medications for my fibromyalgia when I received the hepatitis C diagnosis. I've tried checking the meds out in the PDR, but I didn't glean a whole lot from it. From my biopsy I have a set of two 2's, but I have also had this for over 30 years and always believed my liver was healthy since I only found out about the hepatitis this year.

The liver biopsy also revealed an enlarged kidney from a stone in the ureter. Had that blasted out last wednesday and return this wednesday to get the stent removed. I should be able to remove one of my meds without causing any problems at least.

Here's my list

Prozac
Wellbutrin
Synthroid
Zyrtec (sinus problems)
Naproxen
Requip
Nexium
estratest
Detrol LA*
Torsemide
Potassium Chloride XR 10 meq 1
Flonase spray

Somewhere along the line I had a new name assigned to me so I guess I will stick with it as too much bother to do any changes.
