For the past month or so I've been feeling the need to urinate quite frequently, sometimes not too long after going to bathroom. In these instances, when I end up going to the bathroom again, I urinate very little. Somedays it seems to be worse than other days.
Not knowing what was up, I went to my doctor, after explaining my symptoms, she said that I was most likley experiencing bladder spasms and told me to try cutting out caffine from my diet for a couple of weeks to see if the symptoms went away. After eliminating the caffine yet having no results, I returned to see my doctor and she prescibed Detrol LA.
It has now been a week and it doesn't seem like the Detrol is working. Does anyone know if it take longer for the Detrol to yeild results?
I've read a lot of posts on similar problems, but mine seems different because I do not have any pain nor is my condition so bad that I suffer from incontinence, night bed-wetting or even the need to urinate 15 plus times a day.
I do not have a UTI, but the feeling that I have is similar to when I've had UTIs in the past (feeling like you have to urinate constantly- minus any burning or pain).
Any help would be appreciated.
By the way, I am 25 year-old female.
