That is the reason I am always self conscious about having breakouts - I think people think it's your fault and if you had better hygiene your acne would clear. That is so frustrating because I am probably the cleanest person I know, and yet the acne never seems to go away. I know mine is hormonal, though, and I am currently on a bcp, Desogen, so hopefully it will help.

All I know is, when I see others with bad skin, I can feel their pain and never look down on them. People with clear skin have NO IDEA.
