I was on ortho tri cyclen for about a year then switched to ortho tri lo, which I've now been on for about two years. Neither has helped! I've also been on Desogen and Trilevlen (sp? generic of one of the orthos). Those didn't help either.
With birth control, I believe it is a trial and error thing...one type may work WONDERS for some girl's skin, while the same type may not work at all for others. Chemical/hormonal makeups vary from person to person, so the effect of different birth control pills will vary from person to person as well. (This is just my hypothesis!)
Doctors will tell you, "ALL birth control pills help acne!" But as all of us on this board can conclude from the many threads on birth control, that is definitely not the case!
