My derm referred me to an endocrinologist for it but I had a history of hormone problems that she wanted him to check on. My acne was under control quite a bit with Differin, but adding spiro helped smooth my skin out, get rid of blackheads on my chin, and made my hair less greasy (within a week). I had to go on the pill after 2 months because my periods were getting closer. I tried Ortho Tri-Cyclen lo, broke out, and switched to Desogen.
