Laura, I broke out BAD on OTC lo despite being on spiro and Differin which had cleared my skin before I added the pill. I switched to Desogen and I'm doing much better. Kind of want to change to Yasmin (which I've been on in the past) because I don't like the added blood clot risk. But both Desogen and Yasmin helped my skin.

Glad to hear the Differin cream is still working for you. I am still waiting for full results, but I don't think that the OTC-Lo is helping the situation much....it is so inconsistent!

I can't wait for my gyno appointment so that I can switch pills! I wish I could do it sooner, but, unfortunately, my insurance only covers the OTC-Lo on a 3 month mail-in prescription....2 more months to go! :rolleyes:

Since Desogen has a blood clot risk, would you recommend that I do some research on Yasmin, or just switch to regular Ortho Tri-cyclen? Will I get another initial breakout? I know that my gyno will give me more information, but like hearing about other people's opinions on this board! ;)
