I can't take oral meds. this may sound stupid but every since i had gallbladder surgery I have a problem with my bowels. I can eat something and 10 min. later I have to go potty. I was on glucophage 1000mg daily and about an hour after I would take my pills they come right back out. Dr. doesn't understand why I am so big. I don't either. We can't go out to eat I have to wait till I get home.

yes I take the lantus before each meal but majority of the time I just eat 1 time a day.

yes I have keytones in my urine. yes I go to dr. every 3 months just like they want me to. It does get hard because I don't have health insurance. It gets hard getting supplies. I can't afford the strips for my checker so I have to wait every 3 months to have it checked. It is hard enough getting the needles and insulin to take let alone the strips too. I just don't have the funding to do all of that. There are no state card for me, nothing. No help here what so ever so I do the best I can with what I have. Meds cost too much
