Little update... due to her age and the risk of bleeding the doctors decided coumadin was not an option. She had a filter put in the vein this afternoon, but I guess that won't stop small clots from passing through. She is also getting some kind of injection in her belly. If anyone has experience with this I'd appreciate any advice!
