Getting weird (ADD - Attention Deficit Disorder board)

21st July 2008
Hello
For history refer to previous post.

Ok so here goes (and I am not a person who complains the whole time)

Started on 36mg Concerta (history)
They put me on 18mg ,for a month ,cut out halfway though the day (Concerta)
Back on 36 ,went well for about a month (excellent actually)

Now back to ,hyperactive ,cannot concentrate ,oversensitive some days (all senses) some days dead in the morning ,takes about 30 mins before the meds work ,losing my balance bigtime ,eating disorders (losing weight like crazy ,not hungry for a day or 2,already on borderline on weight loss) ,getting migraines ,switched over 2 cluster migraines.
Feels like I "short out" sometimes.
Cannot remember ,parts of the day ,sometimes.
Now ,all my interests ,switched ,everything I used to love to do ,I dont like anymore ,and want to do everything else
Cant do new things ,get bored ,very quickly.(clashing with statement haha)
Consentration sucks bigtime ,and I get agitated very easily (not new ,gone for a while)

Oversensitive ,to ,coffee ,and any stuff like that.
Blood pressure regulation ,nonexistent (and I am eating healthy ,fitness freak)
Some days ok ,110/70 then 180/130 something like that ,extremely high.
Some days I do not know who I am ,thats freaky.
Messing with work ,friends ect.

Anybody ,experiencing this on Concerta ,worked very well for me ,and now all of a sudden ,blam! ?
Seeing doctor and psychiatrist (not going fast enough ,cat scans and crap and its not working for me at the moment)

Feedback appreciated
Dont want to sound like a moaner ,lol

Legion,

Are you taking any other meds besides Concerta? If so, what and for how long?

Thanks.

Legion, this sounds like more than ADD. Personally, if I were you, I'd lay off the Concerta until I got my blood pressure under control. And, if your episodes of confusion are as severe as you describe, I think you should get yourself to a doc ASAP. You may be having TIAs (transient ischemic attacks) which can be precursors to mini-strokes.

Good luck!
