Quote from wheezydeb:
Dear Nannie:

Many asthma meds can cause a pounding heart and nervousness, you didnt mention what meds you are on but Albuterol (proventil and Ventolin) are known to cause this. Check with your doctor to see if maybe he can perscribe something differant for you.

Good luck to ya
Deb

Thx Deb!

I have tried Combivent, Advair, Oral Prednisone, Inhaler Prednisone and Clarinex. I know I have probably left something out! Any suggestions?

I have never heard of an inhaler prednisone. Are you talking about inhaled corticosteroids?

Combivent contains both albuterol and atrovent. You can try both of them seperately, or you can try Xopenex, which is a cleaner version of the albuterol. It doesn't come in inhaler form, though. There is also Maxair. You may talk with your doctor about these meds.
