Hi everyone I happened upon this website by searching causes of my persistant dry cough well I have been diagnosed with asthma I am currently on advair , combivent , allegra and a nose spray, I have been to an allergist and it just showed a mild allergy to mold and dust but not enough to cause the hacking cough I have had to carry a bottle of water with me at all times which helps to clear up my seemingly stopped airway it just helps doesn't stop the awful coughing it wakes me up at night it is like my airway is closing up and I start coughing to clear it and to try and help me breathe. I have done breathing test and had chest xrays but everything looks clear my husband is starting to get really irritated with the coughing we can't even go to see a movie without the cough interruption as I have started to call it..lol anyway I guess it makes me feel alittle better knowing there are others out there.. if anyone has any ideas please let me know..
