My 14 year old was diagnosed with a sinus infection and bronchitis last Monday. She was given a cough syrup with codeine, as well as antibiotics. She is not better yet...in fact probably will take her back to the dr tomorrow, as she is still congested and woke up today with her ear stopped up and she said it "feels wet inside"...so my first question (that is not the crazy question).....since she is in antibiotics and has been for a week...does that indicate an infection??
ok--for the crazy question....my daughter burped twice today...and both times she had a "light, powdery, floury looking mist" that came out of her mouth during her burps.....I did not personally see it, but dh did...and he said it was the weirdest thing he had ever seen.....my daughter said that was the 2nd time it had happened today...........she had not eated anything prior to the burp---so we know it was not food particules or anything of that nature. Has anyone ever heard of this???? Dh said that it just looked like someone had tossed flour out in the air. This really has me puzzled and worried. Any thoughts???
