After 3 weeks of the clonidine and very little improvement (his behavior is now a little better), I called the dr. asking for something else b/c his teacher sent home a stack of work that he just didn't want to do. He did a couple of pages, but then got side-tracked and didn't do everything. The dr is putting him on Concerta-- not sure what strength yet, haven't picked up the prescription. She wants him to stay on the clonidine as well. He has just been diagnosed with ADD, and we really need him to concentrate on his school work. He is very bright, but gets side-tracked very easily, and overwhelmed too if he thinks there is too much work to be done.. Does anyone else have any input on how Concerta has worked for a 6 yr old???
