my son has been on adderall for 6 years and it has worked great for him. I am sorry it isn't working for you but the year before that they tried many different meds. Also for sleep problems, he is taking clonidine, you may want to suggest it. He never slept more than 2 hours at a time for the first 5 years of his life, now he sleeps normally. It has been a Godsend! Good luck!
