Try a combination approach....
A retinoid topical (differen, Retin-A, Azelaz, Retin-A Micro, Tazorac) at night. All retinoids help in regulating the abnormal keratization of skin cells (when your skin cells stick together and clog pores).
Keeps pores open.
In the morning, use a gentle mild astringet like witch hazel. Something mild. After allowing your face to dry and settle. The put on an antibacterial. Here are some choices (Benzaclin, Cleocin T, Eurythromycin, etc). A gentle antibacterial for sensitive skin is Klaron.
This idea behind this two-pronged approach is that the retinoid will minimize the size or the eruptions while keeping your skin's pores more open. As a result the anti-bacterial applied in the morning will be more effective because it can penetrate deeper into your dermis.
(It is the same idea behind the Proactiv method, just using different meds).
