i have been on accutane for 3.5 months now and the progress is sooo slow! i'm still getting cysts, still having them injected w/cortisone, even though they're getting smaller. two days ago i thought i was finally getting better, then i woke up this a.m. w/ huge whiteheads. is this progress? is the accutane working? i just don't know if i should stick it out anymore, i have at least two months left to go, but this stuff is killing me! and running out my insurance too.

has anyone had this kind of experience with accutane? i am desperate for some hope here. the cysts are on my cheeks and jaw, and when i get them i also get these little lumps in the lymph nodes on my neck. is that weird? my t-zone however, is totally clear, save for the occasional garden variety zit on my chin. i'm also using cleocin lotion, but that doesn't seem to be doing much. i'm so worried about scars, i've never had cysts like this before.

is there anyone who has had this kind of experience with accutane who could tell me what to really expect? it seems like most people start to clear up pretty quickly on this stuff. what is wrong with me? why isn't it working??
