Clear, glowing skin w/ GLYCOLIC & Facials w/ SQUALENE (Acne board)

24th February 2004
:p I'd like to let you guys know what has worked the best for me.

Here's alittle about my problem:

I'm 24 year old female. My skin had started acting up over a year ago. I began suffering from stubborn bumpy pimples on the sides of my face, cheeks and forehead along w/ the occasional under the skin zits. I have used a ton of products both prescription and non. For ex: Benzaclyn, Benzamycin, Retin A Micro, Cleocin, Azelex, Differin, ProActiv, Sulfur treatments, Zythromax, Erythromycin Cream and Pills, NV Perricone Products, Mario Badescu, Ortho Tricyclin, not to mention all of my home made concoctions.

The most effective and least harmful has been facials and the use of:
Cell Renewal Systems Glycolic Complex (5% evening - 10% daytime)
Cetaphil Cleanser (pm) alternating with ..Deep Cleansing Wash by ProActiv (Salicylic Acid) only occasionally as Glycolic Acid is said to work more effectively when used in combination w/ Salicyclic Acid.
I use Neutrogena Oil Free Moisturizer where needed.

What I've learned is that essential oils are good for your skin and sometimes necessary for improvement. My facialist uses Squalene (shark liver oil) which I feel has helped improve my skin texture greatly. Squalene is said to cure many diseases such as cancer and heart disease .. it's also used for high blood pressure, stress, anxiety and much more. I try to avoid the harsh & drying medications as they only make the situation worse and in the end harder to cure. It took me a while to find an experienced & licensed facialist. Find a highly recommended, licensed aesthetician and stick w/ a routine. I go every 4 weeks as needed. Yes it's expensive but so well worth it.

I just want to pass on this info. in hopes that it may help someone else.
