Hi everyone. my allergies have been terrible the past few days, mostly because the pollen is horrendous and it hasnt rained in a while here. my question is, my throat tends to go through periods where it is extremely itchy and doesnt go away very easily. is there anything i can do to help stop this? im taking singulair and clarinex currently but they both dont seem to be helping much.

I've had allergies all my life. Sometimes I wonder how much I've found that works and how much is simply placebo effect. Regardless, when I get an itchy throat, I take a decongestant and I gargle with potent mouth wash or warm salt water. I think the gargle knocks it out of there and the decongestant... well... I don't know why that helps me, but it does!
