I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but I figured I'd try anyway -
I spent several months in Europe recently and over the course of my travels, I came down with a cold once and a uti once. I basically went to the pharmacist, told them my symptoms and they gave me some weird drugs that I'd never heard of before. I just found the boxes and I was wondering what everything was and why we don't have them in the US (or if we do and they're under another name).
"Cantalene" - Chlorhydrate de lysozyme - suck on one 6 times per day - used for cold, seems to have some type of anesthetic in it.
"Acido pipemidico jet" - I think it's Pipemidic Acid in English - used for UTI after a 3 day treatment of Cipro didn't take care of it
