Kandie - Thank you for your concern. Well, he is doing ok I suppose. Can't remember if I noted that his dermatologist took him completely off of Accutane, even the 10 mg. dosage twice a week was causing unbelievable cystic problems. She said that he fell in the small percentage of patients that just did not respond positively to Accutane. So, he is continuing the blueberry smoothies, or even just blueberries with enough Coolwhip to "stir" them together --- for a change. We also started phototherapy TODAY! We received 2 l50 watt dichromatic GE blue and red bulbs and we are adding that to the routine. We've got to get this kid looking good for his junior prom in April!! He hasn't had any new big ones, and overall he does seem to be clearing -- so whether it is blueberries, Cephalexin, omitting dairy, or whatever -- something seems to maybe, possibly be working.
