hello there,
the same EXACT thing happened to my husband last Sunday, in the early hours of the 8th. they put him on Cartia XT ER 120mgs. he has to take it for 6 months. his potassium levels were not low, his magnesium was but they think it had a lot to do with stress. lots going on at his work and i just found out i am pg with #2! anyway, i think that you are feeling these palps more because your mind is on alert for them. my husband happens to be the most laid back person but now he is a bit worried everytime he feels something in his chest. it is normal to feel anxious after an even like you went through. why don't you keep a log of palps and other heart things so you can look at it later with your doc objectivly? i hope you get well soon....
