Emergency Room Visit Again (Heart Disorders board)

10th April 2004
Thursday morning I started having very intense upper right abdominal pain with cold sweats, pain in both shoulders and chest pains. Went to local ER and they went into their heart attack mode before I could even tell them what I was experiencing. BP was 170/100 pulse 65. EKG normal, chest x-ray normal. One of the heart enzymes was very slightly elevated, sorry I don't know which one. They finally did a ultra sound of Gal Bladder area, normal. I am on three different BP meds toprol xl 200 mg. varapomil 120 mg. and cardura 4 mg. My BP is still averaging 160/90. I've had all the standard Gal Bladder test, Ultra Sound, Hida Scan with CCK all normal. Also had a lot of heart test, all OK. The pain is still there and varies in intensity. I am affraid it's gonna kill me before the Doctors figure it out. The pain gets pretty bad and my BP goes up but doesn't seem to respond to meds. I have to think the BP thing is secoundary but what?
One last thing, the ER Doctor said I had a mild case of pneumonia, showed up on X-ray? I thought that was strange as I have no fever or cough or symtoms. He put me on Zithromax for 5 days.
