Sorry Charity ! I was trying to reply to your post and hit the wrong button and don't know how to correct it, I am new to this I guess everyone can tell. I also suffer from atrial fib and at times atrial fib/flutter. I am in awe of you being able to outrun your atrial fib!! I am totally incapacitated when it happens to me due to an existing heart defect (Hypertrophic Obstructive Cardiomyopathy). I have been cardioverted 7 times in the past 2 years , have also been on many meds, Amiodarone, Atenolol, Kerlone, Cardizem, and now I am on betapace. Wanted to try the tikosyn. I had an ablation in Nov. 2006 that wasn't successful and now I am told I need another one. Did your ablation not help you at all ? How many times have you been in atrial fib since your ablation?
