are you still around oscar? i had ablation in may 2004 for atrial fib/and flutter. it is now sept. 2004 and i have wild episodes occasionally. once i landed in er and they reduced my beat from 138 to 72. i had 3 good, i would say "normal" days. no more wobbles when i walk, no more weakness and slight dizziness and fainting (once) and i really felt good those days. i think my atrail flutter is now on the right side of my heart occording to my cardiologist. another ablation in the future? i am on cardizem, tropol xl, and rhythmol and still have breakthroughs. they leave me weak and tired for days. stairs are my hardest thing to concure. next will be the cardiac paddle thing. i read where there is a 50/50 chance of stopping this at the time but is now cure in the long run. if that doesn't work, another ablation and after that, who knows? i am not getting any younger. my heart will be scared like zorro's blade.
