Quote from Lenin:Stumper,
Is that 120 mg. Verapamil CR at the EXCLUSION of the Lasix or in addition to it?
How much were you taking when you got the headaches from it?
Lenin,
It is Verapamil by Calan. I never knew it until last week but the doc gave me a prescription for the extended release form (CR?) which I had all along anyway. I actually wanted just the regular 40 Mg. tablets so me and the doc had a slight misunderstanding. (hard to explain)
Anyway, according to the Pharmacist I have the extended release in 120Mg. tablets. And it is being taken in exclusion to the Lasix. I dropped it momentarily because it seemed as though it was doing all it was going to do and my BP seemed liked it wasO.K., maybe going up some, but I cannot say I felt so good or as good as I could feel.
At first I was only supposed to take 120Mg. per day. But I started to take 240Mg. per day when I thought it was actually RAISING my BP slightly from the start... my call, surely a bad one which PROBABLY triggered the headache, I think and hope.
Anyway, I am going to give the 120 Mg. more time AND perhaps split them at twice a day at different times.
