   Throat infection and tooth pain!?!?! (Open to All Health Related Topics board)

12th May 2007
Well...for the past 4 days my glands have been swollen with a considerable amount of pain...from about my ears to mid neck. With that came neck pain...which is still around...and difficulty swallowing cuz of the pain. During this time I found myself clenching my teeth and now my back molar on my right side...is SO sore...if I try to wiggle it..it hurts...if I clench, it hurts..and eating which hurts the throat anyway...hurts a lot! (not specific foods...I dont believe this is a cavity)

Now my doctor..gave me the lamest answer...well your throat is swollen I'll give you Biaxin..

lmao...my mom was not pleased that I came home with no answer as to what was wrong with my throat...and a prescription for Biaxin...lol

So 2 questions

1. What could this throat thing be?
2. Why is my tooth hurting so much...??

Any ideas :)?
Thanks =D

When I have had a sinus infection, or even strep throat, it would mak certain teeth hurt. It could be that the infection has reached your tooth, and /or gums. Try the Biaxin, but keep a close eye one it. I would be looking to feel better in two to three days!
