help i am freaking out (Open to All Health Related Topics board)

Well I don't have anxiety attacks personally, but I have had problems with antibiotics getting rid of my tonsillitis. For me, I would take the antibiotics, usually augmentin and most recently biaxin for about 10 days, and after the infection would clear up, I'd feel better for a week or 2, and then I'd have the sore throats again, being bedridden and having no energy. For me, it was best to get my tonsils out. While I am only on the day after recovery, you should consider the surgery. I am not in as much pain as some have described, but my procedure might have been different than some who have posted on this board, and also, I am taking a mixture of meds. I took Biaxin starting the week before my surgery, as well as Vioxx 3 days before my surgery. That could have helped with inflammation and infection too. Good luck!

I do have panic dissorder. And it is the worst thing I've ever delt with.I have only had it for almost 2 months. It came out of the blue one evening.I am on meds for it now and it is'nt as scary as it was.But if you are anything like me you think you're gonna die from anything! And this antibiotics thing has just got you afraid, and you'll just have to tell your self that you are ok.And don't let your brain run away with you.Because that is what I do to myself.I can't have just a plain headache , to me it has to be a stroke.Or any pain has to be fatal, and I have to convince myself that it is'nt. Hope you feel better!
