I’m going to take a drug test for a new job soon. I am legally prescribed Klonopin from my doctor. What would happen if they drug test gives me a pos for benzodiazepines? Will I be forced to let my new employer to get into my private medical records just to prove I have a prescription? I really don’t want them knowing why I take Klonopin. Does the drug test tell which benzodiazepine I use or does it just do a general test for them and does not single out the specific benzo? Someone please tell me how this works…I’ve never taken a drug test before.
