hi-i just got back from the derm. and she prescribed 2 topicals: differin for morning and benzamycin at night. i assume that my skin needs both, but together is too much (vulnerability to irritation maybe?) i do, however, apply the benzamycin all over my face, so i think you're probably okay for spot treatments along with retinA.

i am on doxy and using benzamycin morning and night all over my face..
i told the doctor that benzamycin never helped me at all...and so far i have been right. Retin-a helped me more than this cream but whatever the doctor probally makes more money on that ^
