I just started getting cystic acne a few months ago. It just keeps coming back and spreading. How does it spread and what can I do to stop/prevent it?

My doc put me on an antibiotic called Minocin 100 mg twice a day.

I've also been using Benzamycin topical gel for a few weeks now.

I've been using Neutrogena salycilic acid facial and body cleanser for a while now too. Is it ok to use that along with the other stuff?

I can't tell if it's getting any better yet. I'd just like to hear from somebody else that has cystic acne and can tell me about their experience and how to battle it.
