I just started using differin along with benzamycin (been on for 4 months, it helps, but isn't as great anymore, lost its affect i guess, went on retin-a, made it worse, went back on benzamycin). Now i'm applying differin along with benzamycin. Both products say just apply around the affected area, does that make sense? I usually just apply around the entire face. I mean, differin is suppose to try to prevent any break outs correct, so whats the point of applying it if you only apply it to the affected area, doesn't make sense. I assume if its a acne med that you apply on the face, one woudl apply around the entire face, thin layer?
