I first was given Retin-A which made my face insanely red and left me with a few scar marks and i constantly got pimples cause of it, even some huge ones. When i decided to get off it, my face really improved espeically when i switched over to Benzamycin. Now i've been on benzamycin for 4months but i'm not completely cleared up however. But whenever i get new pimples, they're always very small as opposed to when i used Retin-a. So i was given Differen along with Benzamycin in hopes of becoming 100% clear, and am afraid it might have the same bad effects like retin-a. I was told by my dermatologist its suppose to have the same effects (trying to prevent pimples from growing) but its suppose to be a lot lesss harsh (on the face that is, causing redness, etc). Thats the thing that scares me, when i used retin-a it made my face go through hell. So if differin works the same, its maybe something i don't want to take. Also it says apply to affected area, so its more liek a spot treatment like benzamycin. However I heard from teh derm and pharmacist though that you can apply to your entire face. For the people on Differen, how was it, your expereinces on it, etc?
