Go Keith!!!! Don't worry about the "not posting til you're 6 wks clean" comment. You are gonna need our support in the next week or so here!!! Stock up on immodium!!!!, pepto never did anything for me!!! Also, if you get those horrible stomach cramps, ask your Dr. for Bentyl....that med. was a life-saver the last time i went thru w/d. Gosh, i really look back now and could kick myself in the a#$ for going back to that false sense of reality that pills give. I was so much more in-tune with my family and life in general when i was pill-free.
Well, you are on your way to a much better life, just a little discomfort first! Please feel free to yell for me if you need to vent or feel like crap and need someone to talk to....i will be around a lot today.
Hang in there, and if you have to take it second by second then so be it!!!

As for the clonidine.....when i went to the Dr. one of the times i tried to quit, he wouldn't prescribe it for me....my blood pressure was really, really low and he didn't feel it would be any good for me. He was afraid it would lower it too much and i would pass out. I have the same issue as Michelle, when going thur w/d we have too much to take care of, i have 3 kids and a step son so being drugged for the 3 days or so of w/d is outta the question for me! He has also prescribed Bentyl for the stomach cramps. That is usually my biggest complaint, i walk around holding my gut for weeks. This med allowed me to get thru the worst of my w/d symptoms. I also used xanax about twice a day. mostly just try to stay as busy as possible, the less you think about it the less severe the symptoms.

Well just wanted to see how your day 2 is going???? I am routing for ya all the way.....just yell to me if ya have any more questions or are having a rough day. By the weekend you will be feeling alot better, just stay strong these next few days.
