I experienced rls (and other sleep problems) while taking benicar, a medication for high blood pressure. I have heard of others who have experienced rls while on prescription medication. Please note, that the doctors don't always make the correlation. Mine didn't. It was only after my insistance that they switched my medication and the symptoms disappeared within 3 days. It's been at least a year and haven't problems since.
