[QUOTE=hyper79;3108720]Hi, hoping I could find some insight on a issue.I got a tetanus shot 2 months ago for a drill bit through the finger accident, several hours after the shot I got hives on my lower body "waist down" they occured the next night to, anyway the subsided and returned a week later and have occured off and on since, usually after a bath, always at night and on my lower body?? I have not made any changes in soaps, detergents, meds or diet. There is usually only a few patches and they dont last but a hour or so.I have used ivory for years so I dont think it's the soap but if it is why not all over my body? Any ideas
I had hives once in my life...and it was due to a major allergic reaction to the die they put in your blood for an MRI (prohance).
Obviously, I was at the hospital when this all occured. They had to pump benadryl directly into my blood stream immediately to relieve the allergic reaction. Even my throat began to close off.
I'm guessing you're having a mild allergic reaction to something....
Do some research on Tetanus shots.....sometimes these things stay in your system for long periods of time.
Contact your doctor and tell him about them. Perhaps its a side affect?
