Head Pressures and Inflamed Nasage Passage (Allergies board)

12th February 2006
Hey there,

Anyone else having head pressures (+ occasional face, ears) and fog-like feelings (tired, depressed) caused by inflamed nasage passages? Could this be caused by chronic sinusitis. I don't have sinus pain so it's not a sinus infection.

I am on day 2 of Beconase, and I am feeling some relief.

Thanks,
ZM

Howdy, ZM -

Face pain, for me at least, seems to indicate a maxillary sinus infection. I totally understand the "Brain Fog" you refer to. I've had sinus problems for years, along with allergies. They are very closely tied together. After years of taking OTC allergy meds, I went to the allergist and will be starting shots (again) soon.

We actually had long string of messages about Brain Fog - I'll see if I can find it and repost. It had some very good info.

Good luck -
