Now at 49yo, 5'7" 214lbs

I have had High Cholesterol 300+ & Triglycerides >1000 recorded in July 2000, both now down with Chol = 175. Prescribed and have been using (1) Lipitor 80mg & (2) Gemfibrozel 600mg daily since July 2000. Even with these my Blood Pressure is Great (close to a teenagers according to my doctor).

Along with that I have Sleep Apnea and use a CPAP, diagnosed 5-1/2 years ago. A year ago diagnosed as being Diabetic with a A1C of 9+ and prescribed Metformin, now at 7.3 1-yr test (Went up from 6.1 after 6-month retest, had been exercising regularly). Recently have not been getting exercise as had a cold with severe congestion. Prescribed (2) Metformin 500mg daily since Nov. 2006.

Over last 4-years have been having regular Eye Tests as result of high pressures 24-28. Just retested with pressures at 35.

Is there any side effects from the combination of these prescription drugs (Lipitor, Gemfibrozel & Metformin) and/or limited exercise [I also taked a Bayer Asprin each day along with a daily Multi-Vitamin/Mineral, OMEGA3 & extra 1,000mg of Vitamin C]?

Any recommendations, chnages or other ideas?

I am trying to get back on an Exercise schedule.

Johan
