Questions for those who have had sinus surgery (Allergies board)

Check the bottle. If it says "Cipro" call your doctor and demand a non-quinolone antibiotic.

The drugs Levaquin, Avelox, Cipro and Floxin have debilitating, even fatal side effects, some of which can last 3 years after taking the drug. They cause tendinopathy, which can lead to ruptured Achilles tendons, joint pain, etc. They can also cause Peripheral Neuropathy -aka damage to the peripheral nervous system. I took both Levaquin and Avelox, and I now have full-blown Carpal Tunnel syndrome in my hands, so bad I might have to go on disability.

Even worse, some people develop autoimmune reactions to these drugs, such as Stevens Johnson Sydrome, where your immune system attacks your skin, causing you to literally burn from the inside out (15% fatality rate).

There are THOUSANDS of complaints concerning these drugs on the Internet. Some estimates place adverse reactions at 26%! Far above the 1% nonsense Bayer would have us believe. I've received dozens of emails from fellow victims in the last couple of weeks alone.

Cipro is the worst of the lot. It is very, very dangerous. I can provide you with a mountain of research indicating how dangerous it is, so don't let your doctor tell you otherwise. He isn't a clinical pharmacologist or researcher.

Also, make an appointment to get the scar tissue removed. You will feel 100% better afterwards, and th chances of developing another infection will be minimal.
